Team Management

Overview

Team members are users with staff access to your agency or subaccount. Each member has a membership that connects them to the account with a specific role.

Inviting a Team Member

Go to Team in the sidebar and click Invite. Fill in:

  • Name — the person’s name (required, max 255 characters)
  • Email — their email address (required, must be valid)
  • Role — select a role from your account’s roles (required)
  • Context — whether this is an agency-level or subaccount-level membership

Two Invitation Flows

The system handles invitations differently depending on whether the person already has a user account:

  • Existing user — if someone with that email already exists in the system, a new membership is created for them immediately (status: active). They see the new account in their account switcher on next login. No password setup is needed.
  • New user — if no user exists with that email, a new user account is created with a temporary password. They receive an email with a link to set up their password. Their membership is created as active immediately.

Multiple Memberships

A single user can belong to multiple agencies and subaccounts simultaneously. After logging in, they use the Account Switcher in the sidebar to move between accounts. Each membership has its own role and permissions, so a user can be an Admin in one subaccount and a Viewer in another.

Changing a Member’s Role

Click the role badge or menu on a team member’s row to change their role. The role must belong to the current account context. You cannot change the role of the account owner.

Removing a Member

Click Remove on a team member to delete their membership. This revokes their access to this specific account but does not delete their user account or their data. If this was their active membership, they are automatically switched to another membership (if they have one).

Rules:

  • You cannot remove yourself
  • You cannot remove the account owner

Membership Statuses

  • Active — the member has full access according to their role
  • Pending — the invitation was sent but the user hasn’t set up their account yet
  • Suspended — the member’s access is temporarily revoked
