Google Calendar Integration

Connecting Google Calendar, two-way sync, and conflict detection.

Google Calendar Integration

Connecting Your Calendar

Go to the scheduler's Integrations settings tab and click Connect Google Calendar. You will be redirected to Google to authorize access. The platform requests read/write access to your calendar events.

What Syncs

  • Bookings → Google Calendar — When a booking is confirmed, a Google Calendar event is automatically created with the guest's name, email, appointment time, and location. When a booking is cancelled, the Google Calendar event is deleted.
  • Google Calendar → Availability — Existing events on your Google Calendar are checked when calculating available slots. If you have a conflicting event, that time slot will not be offered to guests. This prevents double-bookings.

Conflict Detection

When a guest selects a time slot, the system checks your connected Google Calendar for events at that time. If a conflict is found, the slot is marked as unavailable. This check happens in real-time during the booking flow.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Integrations tab. Existing Google Calendar events created by the scheduler are not deleted when you disconnect.
