Managing Submissions

Submissions Dashboard

The submissions page shows all responses for a form in a sortable, filterable table. At the top, summary cards display key stats:

  • Total — All submissions ever received.
  • Unread — Submissions you have not yet opened.
  • Starred — Submissions you have flagged for follow-up.
  • Today — Submissions received today.
  • This Week — Submissions received this week.

Filtering & Searching

Narrow down submissions using:

  • Search — Full-text search across all field values and IP addresses.
  • Date Range — Filter by submission date.
  • Status — Filter by Read, Unread, Starred, Complete, or Incomplete.

Click any column header to sort. Available sort columns include submission date, read/unread status, starred status, IP address, and completion time.

Reading & Starring

Click a submission to open its detail view. It is automatically marked as read. You can toggle the read/unread status and star/unstar submissions for quick prioritisation.

Completion Time

If the form tracks when the respondent started filling it out, the detail view shows the completion time (e.g., “5m 30s”). This helps you understand how long your forms take to complete.

Notes

Add internal notes to any submission (up to 5,000 characters). Notes are visible only to your team — not to the respondent. Use them to record follow-up actions, internal decisions, or context for other team members.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple submissions using the checkboxes, then:

  • Mark as Read — Bulk-update the read status.
  • Delete — Bulk soft-delete submissions.

Exporting

Click Export to download all submissions as a CSV file. The export respects your current filters, so you can export just a subset (e.g., only starred submissions from the last month). The CSV includes the submission ID, date, all field values, IP address, read/unread status, and notes.

Soft Delete & Restore

Deleted submissions are moved to the trash and can be restored. Use Force Delete to permanently remove them.
