Filtering & Searching

Quick Search

The search bar at the top of the Contacts page searches across first name, last name, email, phone, and all custom field values simultaneously. Results update as you type.

Advanced Filters

Click the Filters button to build precise queries. You can combine multiple filter conditions. Each filter has three parts: a field, an operator, and a value.

Standard Filter Fields

  • First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone (text filters)
  • Created Date, Updated Date (date filters)

Custom Field Filters

Any custom field you have configured also appears as a filterable field. Custom field filters use the cf_ prefix internally (e.g., cf_company).

Filter Operators

The available operators depend on the field type:

  • Text fields — equals, not equals, contains, does not contain, starts with, ends with, is empty, is not empty
  • Date fields — equals, greater than, greater than or equal, less than, less than or equal, is empty, is not empty
  • Number fields — equals, not equals, greater than, greater than or equal, less than, less than or equal
  • Tag filters — has any of, has all of, has none of

Tag Filtering

Filter contacts by tags in three ways:

  • All tags — match against any tag on the contact
  • Specific tag group — only match tags from a particular group
  • Ungrouped tags — only match tags not assigned to any group

Column Customization

Click the column settings icon to show, hide, and reorder columns in the contacts table. Your column preferences are remembered between sessions.

Pagination

The contacts list displays 15 contacts per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate between pages. Search and filter results are also paginated.
